It is fast action and the grammatical errors were not too distracting. That is the good part. I don't think I will give any spoilers when I say that the police protection consisted of two officers sitting in a car across the street (apparently asleep) while the "killer" kept coming in the back door or some other way. She is so beautiful that a hardened criminal is finding it hard to bring himself to kill her although he keeps telling her that he will. Meanwhile when he is with her he is very seductive and she seems to enjoy it. She also wants her ex husband to seduce her and sending those vibrations in the direction of the lead detective. I do not consider this to be a "clean" mystery although nothing actually happens. It is a strange, perverted raging-hormone mystery. All is worked out in the end in a way that has some surprise too it so that is a positive but this sick woman and three sick men are just, uh, what's the word? Oh yeah - sick.

Natasha is on a quest to stop people from purchasing violent video games. She is insistent that Matthew Chrysler is training kids to become killers through these games. As a teen, she put him out of business and now he's back and determined to silence her for good.

Natasha is a divorced mother and a very protective mom. She will do whatever it takes to protect her kids from the dangers of the world, yet there's not much she can do when a hit man shows up. I love how brave she is. I would be scared to death, especially when the hit man turns up all over and in the most unexpected places. I really enjoyed her spunky son, Jace, and her sweet daughter, Lily.

There's an interesting love angle. Her ex is back and wants to protect his family. Natasha still has feelings for Tony, yet there are sparks of interest between Natasha and the detective, Scott. There is more to Alex, the hit man, than just being a bad guy. There were some great romantic scenes and the suspense was really great!

I enjoyed the pacing of the story and the events kept me flipping pages and had me on edge. I think that I especially connected to the story because this author writes a lot of her stories in the area where I grew up. I can visualize these places and to think of these types of things happening in the area of my youth, well...it seriously creeps me out!

Content Clean romance (kissing, vague mention of affairs, unwed pregnancy); no language or religious elements; moderate violence (murders, attempted murders, death, stalking, shootings--nothing too graphic, but moderately described).
I am so happy to have found this author. I normally pick new authors who write romance and paranormal stories. When she offered a book for review, I wanted to check her out. I found I had previously bought Blog This. When I read it, I knew that I had found a new author to keep. She writes inspirational suspense, but she doesn't hit you over the head about it. This book has a prequel Protect This which tells the story of how Natasha and Tony met. You don't need to read the prequel to understand this story. Alex has been hired to kill Natasha, who has 2 children. One of which has Down Syndrome. Alex doesn't want to kill her but his boss reminds Alex that he has Alex's sister, who also has Down Syndrome. Natasha has been blogging about an addicting video game and it's subliminal messages that cause children to kill people. Alex's boss is losing money because of her. Alex shoots her in front of her children. As she lies on the ground, Alex tells her to stop bloging or he will be back. He hasn't killed her for now. So she can't blog anymore or she will be dead, but a shoot out in a mall when she and her children are shopping makes her go back to bloging. Will Alex be back? How does she handle her ex-husband when he finds out?
Can you believe I’ve read this story in just one sitting?! Dang! I can’t believe I’ve hold on too long to read this story. Hahaay! I guess I should start erasing my judgment about book covers eh?

I could have given this story a 4-star rating because I didn’t like the ending. Grrr, well Alex, I am available and I wouldn’t mind your adventurous background hehe. But this story hook me up just as I was starting its first chapter so I can’t help myself and just gave this one a raging 5-star rating.

This story gave me suspense just like what I feel when I read books from MHC but unlike hers, I was able guess the real culprit in this book. Well, it wasn’t actually that hard, this story only have a handful of characters until the FBI showed up, haha, I was even confused on what’s the name of the good guys. Well, I’m not really good with names and being a sleuth, but this story just made my dream come true and spot on the real culprit without a sweat, so thanks Ms Author, though I think you should have make the ending better. Haha, it was actually great, but if you’re rooting for Alex like I do, then you’ll absolutely feel the same way that I do haha. Oops haha, I should have said it first that this story also have a little romance added into it than blabber about Alex eh? Lol. So yeah, this story has it which makes me want it more. I love that it wasn’t too cheesy and too cliché so it will absolutely left you to crave for more. Also, I haven’t read other books with the same plot so that’s absolutely great!

As I’ve mentioned above, this story only have a handful of characters so they’re so easy to keep track of, not until the FBI came (curious? Just read for yourself hehe) And so far, I only encountered two to three words that I need to consult the dictionary for its meaning, so overall, my reading experience with this book was an absolute pleasure.

This is just my first time reading a story from the author so I didn’t expected a lot so I guess that’s also one of the reasons that I enjoyed this story so much. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to read this great story and made it sit idle in my reading list for almost a year (or maybe more? Lol) but I think what’s more important is that I was able to read it eh? I believe that there’s no such thing as late when it comes to book, haha.

This story made me squeal both of “kilig” and for suspense and it left me wanting for more, so I guess I’ll be stalking the author at the end of this.

This book is highly recommended and I am so excited for you to read it too. Ciao!
