A charming, gentle meditation... The words are matched by pictures illustrating common scenarios. The children are in modern dress in the classroom, on a bus, or out in the open. The faces are relatable, and kind, which is very attractive.
The main ideas one would hope to get across to one's child are presented in relatable language.
Two thumbs up! A winner!
This is a wonderful book to teach children how to pray. We pray every night at bedtime, but it just isn't the same as teaching the kids to pray on their own, with thoughts of their own. My 10 year old especially liked this book, because she didn't realize talking to God could be so easy and helpful. This is a wonderful book to open the conversation about praying or to reaffirm to a child that it is a great and normal thing to do. The pictures and situations are ones that kids can completely relate to. Love it!
This is a nice book. Simple, but has a good message.
The illustrations are also done well.
I would recommend this book.
